Musicologist, graduated summa cum laude from the School of Musical Paleography and Philology of the University of Cremona. He studied flute with Lorenzo Alpert and Nina Stern, and baroque flute with Ezequiel Maria Recondo at the Municipal School of Music in Milan. He has recorded for Bongiovanni the Concerto for Flute by D. Sarro and the Sonata in A minor for flute and strings by A. Scarlatti. From 1993 to 1996 he was professor of semiotics of music at the School of Paleography and Philology music of the University of Cremona. Since 1996 he is the editorial partner of LIM – Italian Music Library of Lucca, with whom he develops an intense editorial activity that ranges from Ars Nova to the music of our century.
